Australia’s newest shooting range is undergoing approvals in South Australia, with an anticipated Stage One opening in September.
The Gunnery Shooting Complex at Lameroo (about two hours’ drive east of Adelaide) will be the largest range in South Australia when is completed and Stage One – which had its final SAPOL inspection earlier this month – will feature:
– 12 Pistol Bays (approx. 20m x 20m)
– 100m Rifle Range
– 400m Rifle Range
– 500-1800m rifle range (templated for steel plate targets)
The range is owned and built by gunshop The Gunnery (based in Southern Adelaide), owned by our South Australian president Peter Heggie, and will be a formally affiliated Shooters Union range.
