The Sporting Shooters Association of New Zealand (totally unrelated to the organisation in Australia) has put out an excellent media release cautioning against NZ adopting Australia’s gun laws and highlighting the many flaws of Australia’s firearms licensing and registration system:
We’re very glad to see some well-informed commentary from our cousins across the ditch – especially because it illustrates just how nonsensical our gun laws appear to anyone who does even a small amount of looking into them.
