One of our most commonly requested member benefits is a step closer - we can officially confirm we will soon be able to offer general property insurance for firearms to our members!
We have been working very closely with an independent insurance broker to bring about this member-exclusive offering, which at this stage will provide $30,000 worth of cover for accidental damage or loss or theft of firearms for a cost of $35 per year.
Protection to our members will be provided under the General Insurance Code of Practice, and is “proper” insurance, as opposed to a mutual fund. Shooters Union makes no commissions or kickbacks for the insurance - we are arranging
this entirely as an exclusive benefit for our members. It is NOT AVAILABLE for non-members.
