Leaked Truths and Blue Astroturf: When Anti-Gun Agendas Come from Behind a Desk, Not the Beat

It’s amazing the information police let slip when they’re disgusted enough at their colleagues.... Lately, we’ve been hearing some interesting stories about what firearm registries/licensing branches have been up to!

Apparently, police bureaucrats around Australia have been telling their puppets at Gun Control Australia/'Gun Safety Alliance' (it’s all the same handful of people) to do whatever it takes to convince politicians that there’s a groundswell of community support for more gun restrictions.

It seems the ‘ban everything’ faction within police aren’t finding it as easy as they thought it would be to get whatever they demand. So now they’re leaning on a few useful idiots to try and spook the pollies.

Like obedient little children, the anti-gun lobby have apparently been knocking on politicians’ doors, preparing shonky research, and commissioning dodgy polls that are designed to find a certain result – all at the direction of the cowardly anti-gun police who are in charge of firearms and have a fanatical axe to grind.

That isn’t grassroots community opinion. That’s just ‘astroturfing’ over a blue uniform. And it’s no wonder that decent, honest, hardworking cops don’t like it one bit.

We know from our own sources that most “on the ground” police are not anti-gun – they’re well aware that licensed shooters are not, and never have been, a public safety issue.

The anti-gun push comes from much higher up the ranks, from people who spend more time in an office than on the beat – and the officers at the pointy end of community safety are the ones who unfairly catch the blame for the political scheming of agenda-driven activists.
