Firearms Act 2024, Upper House Review Submission & Western Australia Update
Submissions are now open for a Western Australia Upper House review in respect of the Firearms Legislation. Shooters Union Western Australia would like to here your comments on the following topics pertinent to the review.
Submission topics:
(i) problems that have emerged from the implementation and operation of the legislation;
(ii) whether all provisions are consistent with Fundamental Legislative Principles;
(iii) recommended amendments that will ensure the legislation’s workability and effectiveness; and
(iv) any other relevant matter.
