Due to ongoing delays issuing PTAs etc by Weapons Licensing, a number of Queensland Dealers are now reporting they are completely out of storage space and unable to store interstate transfer firearms awaiting a QLD PTA (for example, where the purchasers has bought the gun from one of the used gun websites and an interstate dealer has sent the gun to the buyer’s nominated QLD dealer).

Before buying a gun from interstate, check your dealer has space to store it while the PTA is being processed – it’ll save everyone a lot of headaches and embarrassment.
