Our disgust for WA’s upcoming cap on firearms numbers knows no bounds, and we are calling on every single shooter in WA – regardless of which organisation they belong to – to contact Premier Roger Cook, Police Minister Paul Papalia, and their local MP to tell them these restrictions are completely unacceptable and must be rejected entirely.

There’s a reason no other state or territory in Australia has limits on the number of guns a licensed shooter can own, and the reason is simple: The evidence shows it’s not relevant and not needed from a public safety perspective. Every licensed gun owner in Australia has undergone a police background check and been found to be one of the most upstanding, fit and proper people in their state.

It’s obvious the WA Government are absolutely terrified of guns – the question is why? What are they planning which has them so scared people might use guns to object to it?

WA is a gigantic, empty state – despite being about 2.6 million square km in area, 80% of the entire population lives in the greater Perth region and nearly everyone else is in the south-east corner beyond that.

You’d think a state with that much empty land and a culture of enjoying the outdoors would be a hunter or sporting shooter’s paradise. Instead, it’s got the most draconian gun laws in the entire country, and they’re getting worse for no reason other than the Government and media over there openly hate shooters almost on an individual level.

Most illegal guns in Australia are either from the pre-96 era or have been smuggled in from overseas.

Say it with us: Law Abiding Firearms Users Are Not, And Have Never Been, The Problem.
