The ABC ran a story online recently regarding a Kalgoorlie man attempting to illegally sell a “high-powered” .22 rifle.
We lodged a formal complaint with the ABC regarding this, stating that “high-powered” was factually incorrect and misleading in regards to a .22 calibre rifle.
To their credit, the ABC acknowledged our complaint and removed the offending phrase from their story. We thank the ABC for listening to us and addressing our concerns in this instance.
