Gympie-based Enfield Arms have announced the official launch of their Australian-designed and made Genesis One rifle will take place at Owen Guns (24 McMahon Rd, Monkland) in Gympie on August 5, from approximately 9.30am.

The rifle is a straight-pull design chambered in several popular calibres and besides being Queensland designed-and made, has attracted interest over the unorthodox testing methods involved in its design, which include “running it over with a 4WD” and “throwing it down stairs” – with the rifle reportedly functioning perfectly afterwards.
