Great news from NSW – Shooters Union NSW have been approved to join the NSW Firearms Classification Working Party (FCWP)!
The FCWP is working with NSW Police in undertaking a comprehensive review, development, and implementation of an updated NSW firearms classification framework.
As our NSW president Tony Gavan explains, “It’s a good concept and will allow us flexibility to create a pragmatic tool to assess firearms which replicate military style firearms”.
The next meeting is expected in October or November, and we look forward to sharing more info soon!
