Shooters Union have engaged WA Law firm Rowe Bristol Lawyers to investigate legal proceedings against the Western Australian Police Minister and West Australian Police Service in the wake of the doxxing incident in March which saw the identifiable details of WA gun owners published in major media outlets.

WA has no state privacy legislation so we have engaged Rowe Bristol to carry out a thorough research into what remedies may be available, so we can consider our next steps effectively.

This is costing several thousand dollars, but we believe the expense will be well worth it to provide a definitive answer for everyone affected, and means we’re working with facts and reality rather than feelings and “the vibe”.
